Peter Aspinall

We are sorry to share the devasting news that Dr Peter Aspinall, one of The Mixed Museum's original Co-Founders, died last week after a period of illness.

Peter's generosity and patience with those working in the field of mixed race studies – particularly students and early career researchers - was unparalleled and we know that he touched the lives of many. We are working on a fitting way to honour Peter’s legacy and incredible scholarship.

If you have memories of Peter that you would like to share with us, or you would like us to pass on your condolences to his family, please do get in touch (info@mixedmuseum.org.uk).

In the meantime, we thank you, Peter, from the bottom of our hearts, for all you have done for us personally, and for our histories. We wish you peace and love.

Chamion Caballero and Bradley Lincoln, Co-Founders of The Mixed Museum
